Transportation Division began its activities in 1976 by studying the city traffic in Tehran in cooperation with Suffers Consulting Engineers (French) and gradually widened its horizon to embrace the entire transportation sector: Roads, Railways and Airports. This division has, by this time, elevated its technical expertise and has carried out over 40 projects in the following main categories:

  1. Urban traffic in various cities of Iran.

  2. Design, development and improvement of the country's roads and highways.

  3. Studies concerning master planning of airports.

  4. Design and supervision on the construction of new Airports or expansion of existing facilities.

  5. Design and supervision on the execution of railroad  system including railways, civil works, sub-structure, pavement and signaling system.

 

 

The Transportation and Traffic Engineering Division of Tehran Berkeley is well equipped with a substantial archive of technical data and well experienced experts having access to state of the art of software thus enabling Tehran Berkeley to serve the industry with expert views as well as collaborating with the contractors for execution of various projects.
