Tehran Berkeley commenced its activities in this field in 1993, cooperating with "Mannesman Demag Ford Technic" in order to handle the agreement signed with the "National Iranian Steel Industries Group" for the improvement of their material handling and transportation system. This project was comprised of detail study and analysis of their existing systems for transportation/ handling of raw material and products, loading / unloading of material, physical warehousing, weighing and packing, design and implementation of improved system and means of its replacement.

  This project is a highly specialized industrial engineering practice wherein a variety of technical disciplines are gainfully applicable. This company has ample means and possibilities to carry out projects of the following nature:

1. Design and installation of material haulage/handling system in manufacturing plants.  

2. Design and installation of warehousing information system.  

3. Design and installation of production planning and control systems

4. Design and installation of maintenance system in manufacturing plants.    

Regarding Simulation, this company has access to all the computer and technical data of industrial countries and has designed material handling projects for steel mills and automobile manufacturing plants.    

Regarding the Mining Industry, Tehran Berkeley has utilized the Germany's Mining Technology in exploitation of the Iron Ore, to design the entire process from excavation up to the storage and material handling of end products.
